Catilia\u00a0Romero holds\u00a0a BA in Education, an MA in British Literature, and is currently\u00a0completing her PhD in Caribbean Studies\u00a0at UPR-RP.\u00a0She has taught at UPR-RP\u00a0since 2012 in both\u00a0the College of\u00a0Humanities and General Studies and has organized conferences locally and participated in local and international conferences as well.\u00a0Her\u00a0published works include “Embodying and Understanding Trauma in Fred\u00a0D’Aguiar’s\u00a0The Longest” and “Damaged Identity in Jean-Robert Cadet’s\u00a0Restavec: from Haitian Slave Child to Middle-Class American.” She has also worked as a translator for\u00a0Poli\/Graphics\u00a0of\u00a0Puerto Rico: Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
