She holds a PhD in English with a specialization in Caribbean literature from UPR-RP, an MA in Theater Studies from Universit\u00e9 de Paris III, and a BA in French Literature from New York University. She is also a certified interpreter in the legal field, curator,\u00a0and independent scholar. Her areas of interest include community arts and Caribbean performance. Her publications include books, contributions to\u00a0numerous\u00a0peer-reviewed journals, and edited anthologies.
