Lydia A. L\u00f3pez-Ruiz is\u00a0Professor in the\u00a0<\/span>English<\/span>\u00a0Department, College of General Studies, UPRRP. She has sixty doctoral credits in Administration and Supervision of Higher Education with a minor in Bilingual Studies from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey and an\u00a0unconcluded\u00a01982 Doctoral Dissertation titled\u00a0\u201cA Study of\u00a0Sociopsychological\u00a0Factors and Their Relationship to E.S.L. Achievement Among College Freshmen in the University of Puerto Rico, R\u00edo Piedras Campus.\u201d\u00a0She holds an MA in education and a BA in Arts from UPR-RP. She has taught grades K-12 and at present continuous to enjoy teaching Intermediate English in the College of General Studies, UPR-RP.
