Jessica Adams is\u00a0an associate\u00a0professor of English in the College of General Studies, UPR-RP. She holds a PhD in English from Tulane University, a JD from the University of Puerto Rico, and a BA\u00a0in English from Bryn Mawr College. She served as editor of the journal\u00a0<\/span>Caribbean Studies<\/span><\/i>\u00a0from August 2023 to December 2024 and is a member of the editorial board of\u00a0<\/span>Sargasso<\/span><\/i>.
