    Roberto Sánchez Zayas, ABD, is an adjunct professor in the English Department of the College of General Studies of the UPR-RP, where he teaches intermediate level courses. Sánchez Zayas earned his B.A. with two majors —Linguistics and Literature— from the English Department of the College of Humanities in 2013. He also possesses eighteen credits in fundamental Education Faculty courses, including field work and a portfolio for Educative Psychology. In 2019, Sánchez Zayas earned his M.A. in Literature from the English Department of the College of Humanities at UPR-RP. That same year, he began his PhD in Caribbean Literature in the same department. Sánchez Zayas has been an English Professor in Humanities since 2019, and in General Studies since 2022. He has taught multiple courses in Humanities such as: Writing About Literature, U.S. History from 1776 to 1865, Puerto Rican Diaspora Literature, and English as a Second Language. He has published three articles and is currently working on his PhD Dissertation.
