Cely Thompson is an adjunct professor in the Department of English, College of General Studies, UPR-RP. She holds a PhD in English Linguistics from UPR-RP, an M.Ed. in ESOL from Auburn University, and a BA in German from Auburn University. Her areas of interest include second language acquisition for adult learners and discourse analysis in digital spaces.
